AI usage bills grow silently until they don't. Token Curb connects to your AI providers read-only, shows every dollar by model and project, warns you before budgets blow, and ranks the savings worth acting on.
Read-only reporting keys · Prompts and responses are never collected · No long-term contract

Built for teams whose applications call OpenAI and Anthropic — and whose finance team keeps asking what the bill will be this month.
Daily spend and token volume, allocation by model and project, month-to-date totals and an end-of-month forecast — from your providers' official billing-grade reporting APIs.
OpenAI and Anthropic today, more connectors on the roadmap. Thirty-one days of history imports on first sync; background sync keeps it current every fifteen minutes.
Set a monthly budget and thresholds at 50, 75, 90 and 100%. Alerts fire once per threshold per month — recorded in your audit trail and emailed to administrators.
Ranked, estimated savings computed from your real usage: prompt-caching opportunities, model-mix routing, and response-length discipline. Labeled as estimates until verified.
CSV export of real usage by project, provider and model. Executive summaries and provider-invoice reconciliation reporting.
Organizations, roles from owner to viewer, and a complete audit trail of who changed what. Every query is scoped to one tenant.
No agents to install, no code changes, no proxy in your request path. Token Curb reads reporting data — it never sits between you and your AI provider.
Create a reporting-scope admin key in your OpenAI or Anthropic console and paste it into Token Curb. It's verified live, encrypted, and never displayed again.
Usage and officially billed costs import on first sync — duplicate-safe, reconcilable against your provider invoice. Background sync keeps it fresh automatically.
Thresholds arm immediately. Recommendations rank where money leaks — caching, over-powered models, runaway response lengths — with estimated dollars attached.
Token Curb's security model starts from a simple premise: we should hold the least dangerous credential possible, in the safest way possible.
The admin keys Token Curb holds can read usage totals and billed costs. They cannot run AI models, spend money, or read anyone's prompts or responses.
Keys are encrypted with a key held in a managed cloud secret vault — never in code, never in the repository. Each ciphertext is cryptographically bound to one customer and one provider.
Token Curb imports usage metadata and billed costs only. The content of your AI conversations never reaches us, by design of the APIs we use.
Every database query is scoped to a single organization. Role-based access separates owners and admins from read-only analysts, billing and viewers.
Connections, syncs, budget changes, alerts, and administrative actions are recorded with actor and timestamp.
Enterprise security headers, rate limiting, request validation, and platform-verified login in front of every page and API.
Where we are, honestly: Token Curb is in its design-partner phase. The controls above are built and enforced today; independent penetration testing and SOC 2 examination are on the roadmap and will precede general enterprise availability. Pilot customers get full transparency on the security posture, in writing.
Plans scale with the AI spend Token Curb monitors — not by seats, so your whole team can look at the numbers.
